Tungsten Resistance Welding Electrodes
Resistance welding mainly produces resistance heat by pressurizing the substrate and using high current to pass through the
contact surface of the plate.
The temperature between the parts is higher than the melting point of the workpiece, forming a molten pool. This kind of operation
needs to be carried out under high current and strong pressure. Especially when welding thick plate, the force between electrode
and workpiece can reach 450 MPa. It is a great challenge for welding electrode to bear this force.
Weilai New materials produces resistance welding electrode, also known as the combined electrode.
High quality tungsten alloy is selected as the end of the electrode, and the internal structure is compact. The rod is made of red
copper or chrome zirconium copper, which maintains the characteristics of high conductivity and high heat dissipation. Therefore,
the selected material has stable conductivity and heat resistance. Different from the traditional brazing process, we use the unique
back casting technology to combine tungsten and copper without damage. Therefore, there is no hole or gap in the joint and the
connection strength is high. In addition, the machining accuracy of the electrode is high with high finish and solid electrode joint. At
the same time, we will customize welding electrodes of various specifications, prices and processes according to your product use
scenarios and specific needs. We can also customize small batch production according to your drawings.
